Now that most of us are seniors it is time to start thinking about what we will do next in our lives. Will we go to graduate school? Or will we head right out into the workforce? Either way it is a very stressful time of our life and we need to know what our options are. After doing an internship in the field of public relations I know that there are many different types of jobs. However, it may be harder to find one at this moment because of the economy. These are some tips on how to go about moving onto the next step. Internships are key because you are gaining real life experience and if you do a really good job there is a possibility of a job in the company once you have graduated. Another tip is to volunteer at any non-profit organization because you are gaining experience once again and its tell future employers that you are a dedicated and hard working individual. Finally it is a good idea to reach out to people who have graduated before you to check on possible job opening and also to reach out to prsa members and see if they can help you.
